We just finished our successful Drive-In Movie series on Friday, October 28th at World Gym. We had a good crowd and hopefully got a little more attention to the festival. You can see pics from the event on our facebook page.

Now its time to go hot and heavy with the festival planning for 2012. We had a management meeting last week to scope out the rest of the year and we have our meeting schedule mapped out. The meetings will be every Wednesday at 6:30PM at Sertino’s Cafe in Beaumont. Below is the list of dates and associated topics for each meeting. The next meeting on November 9th is the best meeting to start out with us. This is when we’ll be deciding each of the committees needed to run the festival. Some of the committees we have so far are Film Programming, Film Contest, Marketing, Music Programming, Fund Raising/Sponsorship, Panelists/Special Guests, etc. If you plan on coming to one of the meetings, please let us know by email or give us a shout out on our facebook page.

November 9 – Committee Assignments, Films, Advisory Board
November 16 – Budget & Bands
November 30 – Advertising
December 7 – Followup and Panelists
December 14 – TBD
December 21 – TBD
