TICKETS


    A single $15 pass to the 2009 Boomtown Film and Music Festival grants you access to all film screenings, live music performances, panel discussions and catered parties on both days of the festival. (Note that the price will go up to $20 at 7 PM on Saturday, May 16.) Seating for all BoomFest events is first-come, first-serve, so be sure to arrive early.

     Festival passes are now on sale through Ticketmaster.com, the Beaumont Civic Center box office and all ticketmaster outlets such as Kroger, Macy's, etc. (Be warned that Ticketmaster adds a service charge to the price of all sales. This charge will not be added if you purchase your pass at the festival itself. Also, we've been informed that there has been difficulty purchasing BoomFest tickets through the Ticketmaster automated sales line. If you must purchase your passes early and by phone, you may need to speak to a representative.)

    Passes will be sold during the festival at the door of the Kick-Off Party on Friday, May 15, and throughout the day and night on Saturday, May 16 at the Jefferson Theatre box office.

The Jefferson Theatre

    An original 1927 movie palace, the historic Jefferson Theatre is a Texas landmark and cultural gem built during the oil boom from which our festival gets its name. Countless shows have played in its majestic walls, from live vaudeville acts to the classic films of yesteryear. The theater recently enjoyed a $6.5 million restoration and in May will serve as the 2009 Boomtown Film and Music Festival's main venue. Visit their web site or click here for directions. 


The Art Museum of Southeast Texas

    Between the Civic Center and Jefferson Theatre you will find the beautiful new Art Museum of Southeast Texas. During the festival, registrants may stroll its galleries or attend any of the film screenings or panel discussions that will take place here. The Art Studio, Inc.

    For decades The Art Studio has represented the independent spirit of Southeast Texas and been creative home to many of its artists. This year it continues that tradition by hosting the kick-off party of the 2009 Boomtown Film and Music Festival. The Barking Dog

    Beaumont's newest coffee lounge is also the hippest place in town. Situated central to downtown, The Barking Dog embodies the vibrant energy of the Boomtown Film and Music Festival.
