The Boomtown Film and Music Festival Kick-Off Party will be at The Art Studio in Beaumont (720 Franklin St.) from 7pm - Midnight on Friday, May 15. Ten musical acts will perform and films will be screened at an outdoor theater. Food and drinks will be served to all party-goers. (BYOB.) You must either pay a $10 cover at the door or purchase a festival pass for $15, which will get you into every festival event over the course of the weekend.
The 2009 Festival Wrap Party will be at the Art Museum of Southeast Texas in downtown Beaumont (500 Main St.) from 10pm - Midnight on Saturday, May 16. There will be live music performances as well as free food and drinks. A festival pass is required to attend this party, as well as a photo ID to be served alcohol.
