Summer Filmmaker Mixer

Join film makers and lovers on July 19th for the Summer Filmmaker Mixer, presented by the Boomtown Film and Music Festival. The Mixer, hosted at the Art Studio in Downtown Beaumont, starts at 8 p.m. and is followed by a screening of the independent comedy “Five Minutes to Air“.
Film writers, directors, actors, composers and fans are all invited to both the mixer and screening. The film mixer provides an ideal opportunity to network with other filmmakers in Southeast Texas and is free to attend.

Stay after the mixer to watch the independent comedy “Five Minutes to Air” at 9 p.m.. Created by Dual Tape Deck, a production group from Austin, Texas, “Five Minutes to Air” is a comedy series about a local music talk show with big aspirations. Dual Tape Deck will host a Q&A after the screening to provide insight into their creative process. There is a $5 suggested donation for the film screening.

Come hungry for inspiration, and food. Refreshments, donated by Tacos La Bamba, will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring their own beverage for enjoyment during the mixer and screening.

Whether you’re established in the film community, looking for opportunities to get involved, or are interested in summer film entertainment that doesn’t require paying $20 for a bag of popcorn, you’ll enjoy mingling with other creatives at the Summer Filmmaker Mixer.
